Review of developments in portable hydrogen production using microreactor technology

Article Abstract:

The process in microreactor development focused on fuel cell based power supplies ranging from less than 1 W to several hundred watts are reviewed. Hydrogen generation from microreactors is reviewed, design consideration is discussed, fabrication methods are presented, and examples of reactors over a wide power range are examined.

Fundamentals of [H.sub.2] binding and reactivity on transition metals underlying hydrogenase function and [H.sub.2] production and storage

Article Abstract:

The chemistry of the binding and reactivity of dihydrogen ([H.sub.2]) on different transition metals underlying the hydrogenase function and the production and storage of [H.sub.2] is described. These new storage methods can be easily used, as the [H.sub.2] molecules can easily bind with various materials.
