Photoelectron angular distributions

Article Abstract:

The angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy helps in solving the problems relating the photoionization dynamics and intramolecular dynamics of gas-phase molecules. The simple expressions for photoelectron angular distributions in various experimental geometries are presented along with their applications.

Theory of dipole-bound anions

Article Abstract:

A major electron correlation contribution is viewed as a dispersion interaction between the excess electron and the electrons of the molecule or cluster. The one-electron Drude model that describes the excess electrons interacting with polar molecules is explained.
