Canon Inc. offers Canon Laser Shot LBP-850 laser printer that supplies 1,200dpi images. This is made possible through the use of a 1,200dpi super-fine mode and Canon's proprietary Laser Beam Image Processing System (LIPS) IV page description language. The RISC processor-equipped Laser Shot LBP-850 also delivers 16 A4 pages per minute. The product, which consumes only 22W during standby, utilizes Canon's original on-demand repair system and does not need warm-up time. When printing at 600dpi, the Laser Shot LBP-850 makes use of ultra-fine-grain toner, efficient memory technology and halftone processing technology.
