Digital camera teams 2.11 million pixels, broad zooms

Casio Computer Co Ltd has introduced that QV-2000X digital still camera which combines a 2.11-million pixel CCD with an F2 lens offering 3x optical zooms. The camera can store up to 400 images, each with 1,600 x 1,200 pixels, when working with IBM Corp's Microdrive ultra-compact hard disc drive. The camera can capture images at 2-second intervals in the fast mode.
