Olympus Optical Co Ltd has introduced its Camedia C-25000 digital still camera which features a 2/3-inch, 2.5-million pixel CCD and a large- aperture multivariator 3x zoom lens. The model combines a single-lens reflex design with an L-shaped exterior that is easy to hold. The camera can store images on Smart Media and on CompactFlash cards and on one of the first FL-40 external flash cards for digital cameras

NEC expands notebook computer lineup

Article Abstract:

NEC Corp expands its lineup of LaVie NX notebook computer with the addition of six models, including the A4LW23C and LW23D all-in-one notebook computers. The LW23C and LW23D models feature a battery, a fax modem, a CD-ROM drive and a floppy disc drive. The notebook computers are promoted by NEC through users services that include free transmission of an e-mail newspaper.
