There is concern in UK college management schools that they did not score highly in the 1992 ratings tables comparisons. Some observers feel that due to financial pressure business schools tend to concentrate on offering courses rather than undertaking research. Observers feel there are a variety ofreasons why academics working in business schools are not perceived as carryingout useful work.
