HP names three parts distributors

Article Abstract:

Hewlett Packard Co has named three US companies, namely, Chester, NY-based National Parts Depot, Dallas-TX based PC Service Source and Madison, WI- based Parts Now! Inc, as sellers and distributors for its products. The contracts will allow a direct link to the manufacturer while allowing for national and international distribution. The three companies will market products for LaserJet and DeskJet printers, OmniBook laptops and Vectra and Pavilion PCs.

Observers say the growth reflects several trends in the IT industry and could be an indication of the industry's huge potential in the next century.
