Minolta Co., Ltd. is marketing its Color PagePro PS full-color laser printer for 498,000 yen ($3,921). The laser printer, which features Adobe's Pure PostScript Level 2 software despite being priced under 500,000 yen, represents the company's first venture into the Japanese color-printer market. The device, which uses an IEEE 1284 parallel port and Local Talk for its basic feature, is compatible with Windows95, Windows NT 4.0 and Macintosh, measures 530 mm by 505 mm by 403 mm and weighs 40 kgs.
