Panasonic set to reinforce PDP business with original high-resolution picture technology

Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd. (Panasonic) is striving to become an important player in the global PDP (plasma display panel) market. Demand for PDPs will probably hit four million units in 2005. The company plans to take control of the market by using its original high-resolution picture technology.

NEC Introduces 61-inch Plasma Monitor For Professional, Educational Use
