Plain-Paper Copies Get Sharper Image with New Developer 'Pana Fine Process'

Article Abstract:

Pana Fine Process (PFP), developed by Matsushita Electronic Components, is an electrophotographic developing process used in plain-paper copiers. PFP is a dual-component developer that consists of a magnetic toner mixture. This system produces copies that are free of edge effects, and contain excellent gradation reproduction characteristics. The system produces clear half tone reproductions of pictures, and copies documents and line images. The life span of this developing process is ten times that of the conventional dual-component developer.
