Ricoh: Versatile design lets faxes run cost-, space-effectively

Article Abstract:

Ricoh's design of its new facsimiles allow users to save cost and space in their places of work. For one thing, the new facsimiles, Fax580 and Fax570, are slim and yet they offer multi-tasking capabilities that ordinarily cannot be found in other older facsimiles. The Fax580 facsimile comes with a built-in digital answering machine that can store up to 15 minutes messages as well as fax memory that can hold up to 25 pages. Hands-free conversations are also possible with Fax580 for it can transmit incoming messages to any destination the user pre-registered on the machine. Fax570 on the other hand, incorporates nine speed-dial codes and a faster sending capability for an A4 page, just like Fax580.

Ricoh Company Ltd's Aficio 650 copier can work on huge-volume professional jobs at 65ppm or 65cpm by means of its pre-scanning functions, and move on to other jobs. The copier's features include a hard disc drive, a printer controller, a twin 550-sheet tray system, a mail box function, a two-way compression system, an output tray, a key counter and a copy kit. Aficio 650 can handle documents set in either horizontal or vertical modes.
