V*Realm Builder 2.0; new version head and shoulders above 1.0

Article Abstract:

An evaluation of Integrated Data Systems V*Realm Builder 2.0 is presented. The VRML authoring software is priced at $595 or $100 to upgrade. The program is excellent solution for building interactive 3D worlds on the Web. It has new, improved interface that provides a simpler, more sophisticated program. Also improved is the way WYSIWYG editing is done and automated tools have been added. VRML 2.0 is fully supported by V*Realm, which adds interactively and animation to the objects of a basic VRML world. New modeling tools, including Extrusion Editor and Elevation Grid Editor have been added to V*Realm Builder. With V*Realm Builder it is easy for users to work with the VRML Node Tree as well as create scenes. However, more transparent tools to build and edit VRML files should be added.
