Palmer Johnson Inc, a boatbuilder based in Sturgeon Bay, WI, said that it has been awarded contracts for three megayachts since Oct 1998, giving it a total of six custom yachts under construction as of May 1999. The yachts range from 88 to 144 ft. Based on the company's performance in several boat shows, Palmer Johnson Chmn Mike Kelsey said that he is expecting a good sales year in 1999.

Delta 'T,' Burger forge an alliance

Burger Boat Co of Manitowoc, WI, has become the first participatant in the strategic corporate alliance program created by engine room ventillation products manufacturer Delta 'T' Systems of Jupiter, FL. Under the agreement, Burger will use Delta 'T' products on all its boats. In exchange, the company gets pricing, warranty and co-op advertising advantages.
