Cutting your losses: types of insurance

Article Abstract:

The author presents a range of insurance contractors can obtain to protect them from claims and possible losses. Besides describing different types of policies for contractors involved in design, environmental risks, plant and equipment, particular employees, health and safety, and those in need of legal expense coverage and insurance obtained after a lawsuit occurs, the author also provides the potential problems that could arise in deciding which policies fit the contractor.
