CNF files complaint against USPS

Emery Air Freight Corp, the Palo Alto, CA-based subsidiary of CNF Inc, has filed a complaint against the US Postal Service (USPS) for allegedly breaching its contractual payment obligations. The suit, which was filed with the Court of Federal Claims in Washington, also seeks for a declaration of contract rights. It stemmed from a contract awarded by USPS to Emery in 1998 to create and operate a network of 10 Priority Mail processing centers.
