Duramax getting a new Ohio plant

Article Abstract:

Duramax Marine, a Middlefield, OH-based manufacturer of water-lubricated rubber bearings, has started the construction of a new facility in 3rd qtr 2000. The 65,000-square-foot facility is expected to be completed by 1st qtr 2000. According to Duramax Marine Chmn Charles Miller this new plant will serve as the company's new cornerstone in its continuing success for in here the company will streamline its operations.

Chicago: 2,000 more boat slips may be coming

Article Abstract:

The demand for boat slips in Chicago is discussed. More than 1,000 boaters are waiting for such slips. In this context, the Park District is planning to increase the spaces on city's nine harbors. In all, almost 2,000 spaces are likely to be added to meet the ever-rising demand for boat slips.

Developers get go-ahead for San Diego Bay project

Driscoll Inc., Beauchamp Realty Inc., and Eric and Patricia Leslie have announced that they have been authorized to develop a $7.5 million restaurant/office/marina project on San Diego Bay by the San Diego Unified Port District.
