Hachette Filipacchi names 2 senior VPs

Article Abstract:

New York, NY-based periodical publishing giant Hachette Filipacchi Magazines (HFM) has announced two executive changes resulting in two new senior vice presidents. David J. Fishman becomes Brand Development Senior VP while Donal Perri becomes Hachette Filipacchi New Media Senior VP. Both men will report directly to HFM Pres Jack Kliger. Fishman will continue to carry out his existing responsibilities as executive producer of HFM's television publishing unit, Hachette Publications.

An old salt among mags

The Salt Water Sportsman magazine will celebrate its 60th anniversary on Jun 1999. From its humble beginnnings as a weekly newsletter for anglers in the Boston, MA, area, the magazine has grown to a 150,000-circulation publication for fishing enthusiasts all over the world. The magazine, which is now part of the Times Mirror Magazines, was founded by anglers Ollie Rodman, Tap Tapply and Hugh Grey, with the first edition released in Jun 8 1939.
