Quality thresholds

Article Abstract:

House-owners were asked their opinion on levels of workmanship, customer service and style when the committee of the 1999 Building Awards were assessing firms for the best housebuilder award. Customers rated firms for their sensitivity to being new house owners, ensuring roads were kept accessible and noise levels to a minimum during early hours. The Major Housebuilder award went to Redrow Group, which was felt to have demonstrated high levels of customer service.
