Article Abstract:
Ian Dixon, UK construction industry leader and chairman of both contractor Willmott Dixon and the Construction Industry Council, continues to vote Conservative despite three years of recession. He believes that many people have forgotten that life under a Labour government means high taxes and little incentive to make profits and disbelieves Labour's plans for higher public spending. Dixon is also chairman of the Bedfordshire Training and Enterprise Council and the Riverside Health Authority as well as being a member of several public bodies.
