United States based Tempo Products is implementing new business strategy to manufacture 95 percent of boats in U.S. only to ensure product quality and to meet customers' demand. The impact of new strategy adopted by Tempo on outsourcing Asian countries is also presented.

Weak boat sales sap Brunswick Corp. profits

Article Abstract:

The boat sales of Brunswick Corp. dropped to $67.4 million in the first quarter of 2006. Brunswick reported $94.6 million sales during the same quarter a year ago. Shipping costs and soaring raw materials are the main reasons for sluggish sales.
