The UK's Private Finance Panel, together with the Treasury, have issued new booklets designed to speed up the negotiating times for Private Finance Initiatives. The publications, entitled 'Practical guidance to the private finance initiative' include a booklet giving details of 22 core contractual terms that are required. Among the clauses are conditions covering force majeure and corrupt gifts. Details of the guidance are presented.
