PWC sales saved industry from a down year

Article Abstract:

Increase in sales of personal watercrafts (PWC) saved the boating industry from recording 2005 as a loss making year. Hurricanes and fuel prices were the major culprits for low sales in other segments. However, a 9.4 percent growth in sale of PWCs saved the year.

First-half sales dismal but July numbers soar

The boating industry sales for second quarter of 2003 were far from encouraging. The impressive figures for the month of July however indicate that good times for the industry are round the corner.
