The IUPHAR teaching site on the World Wide Web
Article Abstract:
The International Union of Pharmacology's (IUPHAR) Teaching Committee established a World Wide Web site in Jun. 1995 to facilitate communications between pharmacologists. The site can be accessed using a uniform resource locator which displays the IUPHAR home page. The interface includes buttons and hypertext links that are used to access certain topics. For instance, the 'Software' box contains database of software for pharmacology while the 'Other Sites' box provides links to related sites.

Innsbruck, Austria, was founded in 1180, and became the capital of the Tyrol duchy in 1420. The city retains an old-style atmosphere, in part due to the mountains in which it is set, and European designs of churches and palaces.
