Article Abstract:

The need to protect Chimney Swifts from habitat loss due to the capping of chimneys, which provide shelter for the birds, is discussed. Paul and Georgean Kyle, project directors of the North American Chimney Swift Nest Site Research Project, are encouraging people to participate in creating standalone masonry nesting structures.
