US, Canadian firms to market e-content

Article Abstract:

BroadCast Software has formed a joint venture with Cinram International that will allow the latter to market BroadCast's electronic content sales and distribution technology in Canada. Its ECSD technology allows media publishers and distributors to compress and lock content on Web servers and hard disks. On the other hand, Cinram provides turnkey services for downloading digital files or custom-recorded optical disc products to movie and record studios as well as software publishers. Cinram CEO Isidore Philosophe said the deal pushes forward the company's electronic commerce offerings.

New version of Revenio Dialog debuts

Revenio Inc has unveiled version 2.0 of its Revenio Dialog software for the management and automation of ongoing dialog marketing programs across any marketing channel. Revenio Dialog 2.0 provides all the required features for designing, executing and measuring effective, personalized dialogue marketing programs. The software has a drag-and-drop tool for creating long-running dialogues that makes it easy for marketers to develop programs.

Sykes buys third call center in Germany

Article Abstract:

Sykes Enterprises Inc has acquired TAS III, its third call center in Germany. TAS III operates call centers in Hanover and Hamburg. The company also bought Oracle Networks Corp of London, Ontario, which has call centers in Toronto and in Moncton, New Brunswick. Sykes issued 2.06 million shares of stock worth $50 million to pay for the acquisitions.
