Buying an investment property

Article Abstract:

There are less dramatic investment earnings to be had from real estate in the 1990s than in the '70s and '80s, but careful investors can still realize profitable rewards with the right planning. Home ownership is still the most preferable form of real estate investment, particularly given Australia's laws allowing gains in home value to be tax-free. Techniques for planning and executing an effective real estate investment strategy are detailed.

Tips for buying a computer

Article Abstract:

Various factors are important when buying a computer. Buyers should decide in advance how they want to use the computer and whether they want a Mac or PC. They can choose between a desktop or notebook. Other decisions include buying a brand or non-brand name and how the warranty works. It is important to secure original CD-ROM or licensing agreement for software to be installed on the hard disk.

Bulk buying

Article Abstract:

Buying groceries in bulk usually saves money, but not always. Sometimes the consumer ends up paying for individual serving packaging, even if the overall volume is large. Grocery stores are not required to post unit pricing, so shoppers need to carry a calculator with them to ensure actual savings.
