Endowments

Article Abstract:

Endowment policies are described as insufficiently flexible for the borrowers of today. Although the policy was successful in the 1970s, the economic climate has changed significantly and the returns of yesteryear are not being matched. If cashed in early, endowments offer an extremely poor return. Potential borrowers are advised to consider a repayment mortgage, which offers more flexibility.
