Multiproduct, Three-State Production Inventory Systems
Article Abstract:
A heuristic method is developed for determining an optimum production plan for a group of products. A three-stage production system is considered. A model is formulated. A numerical example is given. The procedure is evaluated. The algorithm is useful in determining production batch quantities plus optimal sequence. Tables, charts and graphs are included.
