Electricity competition

Article Abstract:

The deregulation of the UK's electricity market means that small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can take advantage of lower prices. The wholesale electricity market is based on a half hourly usage and all customers of more than 100kW are required to install half hour metering. In order to provide initial quotes, the Regional Electricity Companies require information including company name and location, total annual consumption and the 'S' number which identifies the tariff. A range of quotations is crucial to ensure that the right business contract is negotiated.

Dunn's archaeological findings shed light on the technology that allowed the construction of the pyramids of Giza, most particularly that of the Great Pyramid. The bore in Petrie's writing could have been done by ultrasonics while the pyramid's flat walls showed precision unachievable by hand alone.
