Go with the flow: needle spray or soft bubbles? The choice is yours if your buy a new electric or power shower

Article Abstract:

Electric and power showers were evaluated for ease of use, performance and features provided. All the showers had adjustable spray patterns and some had economy sprays, reducing the amount of water used. Some had thermostatic valves aimed at keeping the temperature constant, and the power showers have a device to allow a maximum temperature to be set. The best buy electric showers were the Showerforce at 150 pounds sterling and the Mira Sport 8.5 at 210 pounds sterling. The Showerforce Mirage Thermostatic at 140 pounds sterling was one of the best buy power showers.

Should you switch from British Gas?: More and more gas consumers are being given a choice of gas supplier. So far at least, all the new companies are undercutting British Gas' prices

Article Abstract:

A survey of over 5,000 gas users was undertaken to determine whether alternative gas services to British Gas are as good as they are made out to be. All the competing companies are currently undercutting BGT prices and most have special tariffs for those paying by direct debit, but those savings are not as great over BGT. Most companies currently offer a better service than BGT, although they are not better than BGT at everything.
