Article Abstract:

The two types of cordless telephones are the older analogue type and the new digital type. Analogue telephones are cheaper than digital ones, but digitals are less likely to be affected by interference and are usually lighter and smaller than analogue ones. The best cordless telephones have reasonable sound quality, but none have sound quality as good as that of an average ordinary telephone. The best digital models include the Panasonic KXTCD 950E-B and the Philips Onis 6210. The best analogue models include the Panasonic KXTC 167E-B and the Geemarc Clearsound 1500.

The use of puppets in play therapy

Article Abstract:

Puppets have become useful in allowing children to play out their suppressed emotions in a therapeutic setting. Children under therapy have been observed to exteriorize internal conflicts, such as expressing feelings towards another person, making the puppet act out emotions which they would not acknowledge as their own, or recreate scenes of abuse. Thus, therapists are advised to choose puppets which are easily manipulated, have moving mouth parts and are visually appealing to children.
