How to pay abroad

Article Abstract:

The main ways to pay for things when abroad are to use foreign currency, have travellers' cheques or credit cards. Travellers' cheques are expensive because commission is charged but they are safe and can be easily replaced. Eurocheques are also expensive and an annual fee is charged for having them. They are not always accepted. Credit cards are the most economical way to buy things abroad. However, users need to be careful of companies which charge daily interest. Travellers should have an alternative method of getting money incase their card is stolen.
