There are around 600 credit unions in Britain, ranging from small volunteer-run organizations to large credit unions covering wide areas. Credit unions are different because they are financial co-operatives, owned and controlled by their members and run for the benefit of their members providing cheap, flexible loans, and more pay good returns on their savings accounts too.

The government's 48-hour target were easy to come by but looking ahead is a big problem and the current target system does not deliver according to needs and assumes all patients are the same.
