Salim gets pound 1,100 when his PC fails after less than a year

Article Abstract:

The story about Salim Peerbaccus who was offered pound 1,100 when his Sony Notebook computer failed after less than a year instead of replacement is narrated. His lawyers advised Salim that he had a claim for breach of contract under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, as the computer was not of satisfactory quality and if the computer could not be repaired or replaced, he was entitled to ask for a refund.
