Stakeholder pension schemes, which will become available in the UK in Apr 2001, are prompting pension companies to reconsider their approach to personal pensions. Many are promoting 'stakeholder-friendly' versions of their personal pensions, while others are revamped existing pensions. Those considering switching from a high-charging pension to a stakeholder-friendly pension should obtain independent advice before doing so.

Converting to LPG

Article Abstract:

LPG, or autogas, is an oil based product and is cheaper, less polluting fuel than petrol or diesel as it produces less carbon dioxide as compared to them. The advantages and disadvantages of LPG are discussed.
