Vests on test

Article Abstract:

Twenty thermal vests costing 6 pounds sterling to 40 pounds sterling were tested and found to be warmer than, or as warm as, standard vests. Knitted silk vests rate highly for warmth with lightweight comfort, with the 23 pounds sterling Silking considered a best buy. The 17 pounds sterling Helly Hansen Lifa Super is one of the best sports wear vests. The 8.30 pounds sterling JE Morgan Arctex for men offers the best buy for extreme cold situations, with the 6 pounds sterling Contessa for women a best buy for everyday warmth on chilly days. Better labelling is called for as there is currently no legal requirement for warmth when labelling a vest 'thermal.'
