FRANCE: CANDIA BETS ON INDUSTRIAL VISION

Article Abstract:

Cedilac's Candia is counting on industrial vision to inspect the lids on its milk bottles and to guarantee to its clients that its bottles are completely water tight. It has chosen the APPI vision system which at present is installed only on the most recent milk bottle production lines, but which is also to be installed on two other lines in March 2000. This vision system can inspect 25,000 bottles per hour on a conveyor belt.

FRANCE: CANDIA CHOSES IMAJE PRINTERS

Article Abstract:

The Candia Cedilac plant at Campbon, near Nantes in the Loire-Atlantique departement, has chosen the Jaime 1000 ink jet printer from Imaje to mark its brick cartons of milk. These printers are rented. The information printed on the cartons are the use-by date, the number of the packaging machine, the link with the packaging carton, the hour of the day, the packager code, the number of the brick carton after the real number for the carton is changed, the internal number of the plant, and the day of the year. This makes it possible to find the brick cartons easily if a problem has been detected. an average of one brick carton out of 600 is inspected.
