The Union Beurriere, which is located at Vesoul in the Haute-Saone departement, made a 2000 turnover of FFr 577mn, and produced 26,000 tonnes of butter. The company plans to launch new products, including a line of spreadable products in tubs. The company is going to invest FFr 20mn from now to the end of 2002 in the purchase of two new production lines, in automation and palletization, and in increased storage capacity.

France: Senoble invests at Chateau-Salins

Article Abstract:

The Senoble dairy has installed an Ampack line at its plant at Chateau-Salins in the Moselle departement, to package yogurts and mousses in individual pots since the beginning of 2001 and it has renovated an Erca line. It plans to mechanise its glass pot plant in 2002. Senoble has made several investments, and the capacity of the plant has risen from 3,000 tonnes in 1990 to 45,000 tonnes at present.

Moy Park, which produces products made with poultry, is going to invest EUR 15.25mn. This money will make it possible to increase the production of the Marquise plant in the Pas-de-Calais departement by 2.5-fold, and to increase the production of its Henin-Beaumont plant, also in the Pas-de-Calais departement, by 50% by adding a fourth production line.
