Acid deposition

Article Abstract:

A system which affords precise measurement of the control measures for the atmospheric acidity should be designed, implemented and maintained to improve concentrations of acidic substances in the atmosphere. Research and monitoring methods should guarantee that these control measures are followed. The knowledge on acidic substances should continuously be updated so that uncertainties would be diminished. The best pollution strategy to be implemented could then be determined from the evaluation of emission reduction strategies utilizing available models of atmospheric processes.
