Article Abstract:
This article examines some of the images recorded by the Landstat-7 enhanced thematic mapper plus. The image showed some rarely observed classic fluid flow pattern termed a Karman vortex street, indicating that the Landstat detects more than just surface features of remote areas.

Article Abstract:
A multi-agency interdisciplinary approach is needed to solve environmental problems. In 1993, the National Science and Technology Council was created and its Committee on Environment and Natural Resources will coordinate the $6 billion environmental R&D agenda.
