A question of timing

Article Abstract:

Outdated impressions persist about the Republic of China (ROC) and interaction with the mainland country. Pragmatic diplomacy prevails. Policy is based on popular will, desire for international presence based on economic power, and need for security/prosperity. Taiwan is developing very rapidly and government actions may be misinterpreted. It is not true that Beijing thinks of Taiwan as a renegade province. The ROC supports the One China concept in principle and seeks to resume negotiation. Better transport links would reduce incentives to work within Taiwan.

Moisture control

Article Abstract:

Humidity, condensation or sweating annually cause untold damage to equipment, cargo or even paintwork. Venting cargo holds may not be adequate to prevent relative humidity as sea air typically has a higher moisture content and is often warmer than sea water. Dehumidification prevents moisture level problems, with two of the most widely employed dehumidification systems using either refrigeration or a dessicant (and sometime a combination of both).
