An analysis of UK franchise contracting 1989-1999

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to examine UK franchise contracts over the period 1989-1999 and causes behind the probability of contract change. The study reveals that the focus of attention on aggregate variables is inappropriate and that contract lengths are important aspects of the franchise contract that is theoretically obvious, but until now has not been empirically tested.
