An empirical study of dynamic labor demand with integrated forcing processes

Article Abstract:

Adjustment expenditures are essential in assessing dynamic labor demand with integrated forcing processes. Utilization of a simple model based on labor demand revealed that adjustment expenditures are four times more significant than disequilibrium expenditures when it comes to dynamic labor demand determination. Significant econometric and time-series implications, such as cointegration restriction, were drawn during the analysis of dynamic labor demand.

Price cyclicality in the natural rate-nominal demand shock model

Article Abstract:

Proof concerning the validity of the Friedman's natural rate-nominal demand shock model is presented. Specifically, the impact of cyclical prices on economic fluctuations is investigated. The results are used to invalidate the conclusions reached by other researchers. Their error, it is pointed out, lies in the prediction of procyclical prices and the correlation 'between detrended output and change in inflation.'

On the Keynes and Pigou effects in aggregate demand theory

Article Abstract:

An aggregate demand equilibrium model employing both Keynes and Pigou effects is extended by analyzing each effect and summing them up. In particular, the slope of the demand function is analyzed. Likewise, the price elasticity or the response of prices to changes in aggregate demand is studied. Aggregate demand is scrutinized under various settings in both the product and money markets.
