Organic food and drink

Article Abstract:

Consumer demand will drive the UK organic food and drink market from an overall value of 550 million pounds sterling in 1999 to 888 million pounds sterling by 2003. All sectors of the organic food and drink market will see significant growth as demand continues to outstrip supply. The UK market is hindered by a lack of suitable land for organic farming, which must be addressed by the government.
