A survey was conducted in 1996 of users of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), including readers of the CPI Detailed Report. Satisfied ratings were given to the CPI overall by 86% of Detailed Report readers. Timeliness received the most dissatisfied responses, 33% among Detailed Report readers and 14% of all respondents. Timeliness was also rated second most important among the CPI characteristics, after applicability. The Detailed Report itself was rated as satisfactory by 84% of respondents.

Mexican foods

Article Abstract:

Market research shows that mexican foods have been increasingly popular in the United Kingdom since 1993. A significant number of new products were introduced on the market in 1997. Market sales growth in ready made products using beef, such as chilli con carne and cooking sauces, have been limited because of fears over Bovine spongiform encephalitis. Mexican meals are being served in an increasing number of public houses and restaurants.
