Article Abstract:

The Federal Reserve's rate cut and the apparent turmoil in credit markets have not affected small business, with improved owner optimism and better-looking job creation plans. The challenge is finding qualified job applicants, but meanwhile these businesses enjoy lower price hikes among other things . F orecasts and trends for small business' finances are discussed.

Small business credit condition

Article Abstract:

Graphs showing small business' loan availability and interest rates from January 1986 to September 2007 are presented. Tables indicating availability of loans, percent borrowing, borrowing satisfaction, expected credit conditions, relative interest rate and actual interest rate from January 2002 to September 2007 are also given.

Small business capital outlays

Article Abstract:

Small business' actual and planned capital expenditures from January 1986 to September 2007 are compared in a graph provided. Tables showing actual capital expenditures and capital expenditure plans from January 2002 to September 2007, and amount of capital expenditures made, are also supplied.
