Differentiation and competition in HMO markets

Article Abstract:

Research shows negligible competitive effects between differentiated health maintenance organizations. Results were determined from a comparison of local HMOs to regional or national HMO networks using an entry and product choice equilibrium model.

Prices decline not by greater agricultural input. When seasonal demands increase, rival retailers and manufacturers advertise more, making buyers very sensitive to price which leads to price cutting.
