Diverging patterns with endogenous labor migration

Article Abstract:

The size and the composition of laborforce greatly contribute to the occurrence of divergence in labor migration. In terms of laborforce size, in-migration occurs when one country imposes higher wages as a result of a big laborforce. In terms of composition, divergence occurs when the composition of labor in the receiving nation improves as a result of in-migration that increases the number of people joining skilled jobs.
