Engaging stakeholders in corporate accountability programmes: a cross-sectoral analysis of UK and transnational experience

Article Abstract:

This article examines how corporations are engaging stakeholders in the process of social and ethical accounting, auditing and reporting (SEAAR), focusing on whether organizations seek to collaboratively design accountability programmes with their stakeholders, or merely want to gauge stakeholder opinions. A model of stakeholder dialogue is presented.
