If you advertise it, will they come?

Article Abstract:

Publications can conduct readership studies to help their advertisers gauge the success of their advertisements. A readership study is typically conducted by a third party and asks the readers about the ads shortly after they have received the designated study issue. Results are provided to the advertisers free of charge. A readership study generally asks the readers whether they had seen or read the ad and whether it had any effect on their behavior.

Fielder's Choice Direct is the country's first direct seller of premium seed corn. The company, which was founded in 1985, goes directly to growers through the convenience of telecommunications and computer technology. Fielder's Choice uses an information management system to track agricultural production and a proprietary breeding program to monitor hybrid performance.
